Guitarist Glenn Tipton joined the band in 1974, just before they recorded their debut album, Rocka Rolla, and - along with bassist Ian Hill - has appeared on every album since. He stepped back from touring in 2018, after revealing that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but was still involved in their most recent album, Firepower.
